Working on one of my books. Here is a little bit I can't help but going over and over again. Does it visually make sense?
I saw his lips moving quickly and he bent down and touched the roots of the tree. As he stood up, and I arrived next to him, there was movement. I blinked a few times, willing myself to not look away. The roots were pulling themselves up and the whole tree began to split in two. It was as if someone had taken a giant seam ripper to pull away at the tree.
It's the first night I've been home in a while and I'm determined not to get distracted by one paragraph. I've printed out 3 copies of my book thus far, about 25,000 words, and I'm waiting to hear back from 2 of the 3 who have printed copies. We'll see how they like it. (The first person who got back to me was my mother. She devoured it in one sitting, but I cannot trust her glowing review as she birthed me, and therefore cannot be trusted.)
